Collection: Zen Collection

Hello and welcome back to Native Needle.

It’s been a while, I know, but I needed to take a step back (especially with the year we’ve all had) gather myself, renew my energy and now I’m ready to take on this year with hope and inspiration.

Lately, I’ve been busy in my studio, working on a new collection (not exclusively, but extensively). To me these pieces symbolise freshness, a time of new growth, softness and quiet beauty. I’ve called it my Zen Collection. This time I’ve dipped into quite a restrained colour palette and it’s been good to explore and use colour this way.

Each piece is largely white, crisp yet soft, and the perfect background for some simple harmonious designs. Made with the softest, superfine Australian Merino wool and fine delicate silks, each one really feels like a warm, comforting hug. These are also versatile pieces, both in how you could wear them and what you could wear them with.

I don’t know how long I’ll be drawn to this palette and style, so I have to say this is a limited collection.
